Ken Knowles is a native of Rockport, MA. He has been painting impressionists paintings outdoors for 24 years. His success professionally has afforded his family a beautiful home and studio in the seaside art colony “Cape Ann”.
Ken was trained in the tradition of the early 20th century artist under his pier group. The following teacher/artist Stapleton Kearns, John Terelak and T.M. Nichols influenced Knowles to study and become an award winning artist nationally.
Ken is a full member of several important Art Associations of the North Shore, MA. Ken’s work is part of countless collections across the country and abroad. Knowles has closely studied the waterfront of Cape Ann, en plein air and in his studio.
